The Bon Ton gold collection features rubies, emeralds and natural sapphires and brilliants in G colour and VS purity. The weight of the colour stones can vary by a few hundredths of a carat.

Ruby in history

Since ancient times, the Ruby has been revered for its virtues as a carrier of light, warmth and health. It was also considered an effective amulet against pestilence, poisons, black magic and falsehoods. According to the wisdom of the Egyptian tradition, the Ruby would be able to give the wearer unlimited wealth, guaranteeing, moreover, the presence of love in one’s life.

According to an oriental legend, by inserting a Ruby in the flesh, some men became immune to gunshots or sword reaching immortality.

Properties of the Ruby
